Must-Have Items on Our Registry
There are several great options for building baby registries: Amazon, Target, BuyBuy Baby, and Babylist. We decided to build ours using Babylist because it links easily with all the other registries, and does price comparisons to help people buying find the best deal. I spent hours perfecting my list and organizing it so that my friends and family could easily find things and know the items that are at the top of our list.
Here are our top 5 items that we’d really love to have before Oliver arrives:
Crib & Mattress
I love the vintage look of this crib. It’s classic and will be perfect for if we have other children in the future. It also converts to a toddler bed and daybed so it can be used for years and years.
The Newton Baby Crib mattress is the most innovative and safe mattress out there for little ones. It is super breathable and the whole entire mattress is washable. After feeling different mattress options at our local BuyBuyBaby, this one was supportive, soft, and safe for baby Oliver.
Lollipop Baby Monitor
This is a new, revolutionary baby monitor without a super steep price tag. It boasts features of two-way talk, remote music playing, can record 30 second video clips, notify you when your baby is crying, and has an amazing HD camera that has a flexible “tail” that you can attach on the crib, on the wall, on a dresser.
Baby Bjorn Bouncer Bliss
I love this baby bouncer because the baby is what makes the bouncing. This will also be a great option for when we need to cook, shower, or be doing something else where we can’t be holding Oliver, but need to make sure he is safe and occupied. It is also extremely travel friendly and takes very small real estate in a room.
This is also a great option to having a safe place to put our baby. It will also come in handy for naps in various rooms of the house instead of having to place Oliver in a bassinet or move him upstairs to his crib. It can be used for lounging, tummy time, diaper changes, and more!
This baby carrier is safe to use with newborns without an insert. It can also be used all the way up to 4 years old (although I can’t imagine carrying a tiny human in a carrier like this that old). It is ergonomic and has great support for the baby and person wearing it. This one is made of mesh to be cooler. It also has a hood that can be used for breastfeeding while the baby is in the carrier.
